WeatherAloud is an interesting application that can read you the weather forecasts and current conditions aloud. The program can read your local weather conditions as well as weather conditions of many other cities of the world (over 5000).
You are enabled to add any city you want (from those included in the program) to 'MyCities' location and get information about the weather in a certain city. The information is always displayed in the program's main window so you can just look through it by clicking on the city displayed in the "MyCities' window. The program will inform you about time conditions, temperature, humidity, dewpoint, pressure, winds, visibility, conditions. You are able to choose which conditions you want to be informed in the 'Default read options' window.
Some general settings of the program are also adjustable. For instance, you can set the program to start automatically when you log in to Windows, read temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, as well as set the period of time in which the program should update the weather information of 'MyCities' locations.
The appearance of the program main window is customizable as well. You can change its colors easily by setting the preset schemes or by selecting a color for each window item.
Unfortunately, the program's interface is not very intuitive, so beginners may need some time to find and customize needed items. The quality of the sounding voice also desires to be better. But, WeatherAloud lets you edit the pronunciation and the introductory phrases, that is really great in my opinion.
